Stop Being the Best-Kept Secret

You know what’s frustrating? Feeling like the best-kept secret. Not being sure how the heck to communicate what you do to your audience in a way that inspires them to sign up to work with you. Ooooog! It’s so annoying because you KNOW you’ve got something amazing to share with so many lovely humans!

I would know! I spent several years very annoyed about this in my own business. I was pivoting away from doing mind-body pelvic pain relief coaching and I KNEW I was supposed to be helping coaches with their work. 

Of course, everyone I talked to was a Debbie Downer about this. “It’s too hard to stand out in that market. Everyone’s coaching coaches. Everyone wants to coach coaches, but not everyone can.”

But, I could feel it in my bones. I knew there was a reason I was supposed to work with coaches, and I was already doing so fairly frequently. I just couldn’t put a finger on WHAT I was doing with them that made things happen for them. 

At the time, I was running what used to be called my Mind-Body Magic Life Coach Training program, teaching coaches how to do mind-body healing work with their clients. 

Except, shhhh, my favorite part of this program was the series of calls we did about their niche right at the end of the training. I freaking LOVED talking to my coaches about their niches! 

I’d been doing this for years, but one day, the lightbulb moment happened. At long freaking last. 

I was working with a coach on a call, and in about ten minutes, we had her niche sorted and aligned. I helped her see what was uniquely magical about her coaching, and I was so excited for her! I could see it so clearly! 

Off she went, started up her business, and is still killing it to this day! 

Some months later, she and I ended up talking, and she told me how successful her niche was for her. This was the moment I finally saw it; THIS was my unique magic. Seeing other people’s money-making niche path! 

Of course, once I saw it, it was everywhere. I realized I’d been doing this all along, with so many clients, embedded in all the other work we did together. It was the true core of what I do. 

I started talking about this out loud in my messaging. Clients started showing up to focus on their unique magic and money-making niche. Eventually, I clarified my message even more, admitting that I’m a Celtic Seer. 

MORE people started showing up to work with me on their unique magic and money-making niche. 

The reason they were showing up is this: they knew I was the one coach they needed to sort this issue out for once and for all. We were a perfect fit. 

That’s actually why your clients show up, too. They can sense that you are the one coach they need so they can sort out this one issue, for once and for all. You’re their perfect fit. All you need to do is TELL them so that they don’t have to sense it - they can KNOW it. 

You don’t need to know a whole bunch of stuff to help your clients. You just need to lead them out of the dark woods and into the light, where they long to be. They want YOUR path out of the woods. 

All that’s left is to know how to tell them about you and your unique magic, your superpower, so that they know you’re the ONLY choice for them. 

That is how you stop being the best-kept secret around. When people know you’re the perfect match for them, they sign up.
