How to Get Clients Before You Even Create Your Program

One little-known fact about my work with clients is that even though it seems like it’s about creating clear messaging that attracts clients into a signature program, it’s actually about manifesting clients energetically above all else - as if by magic.

In fact, one of the coolest results I get with my clients is soon after they join my program and start working on the energetic alignment processes in the program, they get new clients in the door. They have literally told me it feels like they’re getting clients through magic alone.

This happens before they even roll out their fancy new signature program or finish all the steps I’m teaching them in my program.

There are two reasons this happens.

One is that nothing messes up vibrational alignment for manifesting clients like confusion around what problem you solve and who you’re best able to solve the problem for in your work.

If we, as coaches, feel confused about how to express what we offer, there’s no way we’re in energetic alignment.

I know when I was shifting away from working with clients struggling with pelvic pain into working with coaches, I felt totally stressed out for several months. I wasn’t fully sure how I best helped coaches, even though I was already coaching several coaches.

I couldn’t yet articulate what I helped coaches with, how I helped them, or who I worked with (because "coach" is a little vague). It made me feel anxious every time I tried to write a blog post or go live or send an email.

Not surprisingly, during that time period, my email open rates were really low, I didn’t attract clients, and I didn’t increase my revenue. My energy was not aligned with the confident, clear energy I needed to attract clients.

So, from an energetic standpoint, when my program participants feel clear, confident, and excited about their messaging because we’ve dialed it in, they automatically start attracting clients.

Since that’s the very first thing we do in my program (nail down what problem they solve, who they solve it for, how to talk about, get clear about the actual words they’ll use, and make sure it’s in a money-making niche), my clients don’t need to get their program done in order to start seeing a shift in their client attraction powers.

(Which is so fun, because this is the part that feels like magic!)

The second reason my program participants get the result of new clients before they even build their signature program is their clarity creates a practical doorway for new clients to enter.

If we’re confused, our potential clients are confused.

If we’re clear, our potential clients are clear.

For example, I’ve seen coaches who are brilliant at their craft struggling to get clients, and I notice them posting a variety of things on social media; some “coachy” things that are inspirational, various quotes, encouragement around focusing on gratitude, or personal-development-related insights.

Because they want to work with lots of different clients and they’re not totally clear around how to message their niche, they are presenting a delightful but somewhat confusing message to their potential clients.

They are accidentally not posting content that makes their future clients get excited about how they can solve their problem.

This is simply the practical side of attracting clients. If our words don’t convey that we can help our potential clients, they just don’t know we can help them!

As soon as my program participants start sharing their new message, they have created a clear doorway for clients to enter. Those potential clients KNOW they need to turn that doorknob and enter rather than just scrolling on by to something else.

On top of all this, my program participants are no longer pressuring themselves to take steps in their businesses that don’t feel right. They feel lighter, more inspired, and excited.

These things combined make for a lot of magic, which is exactly why I call my system for attracting clients and working without hustle the Slacker Magic System.
